I have already talked about the method we use to send Google email to fax, and well… receiving faxes on Google Mail is even simpler!
People will send you faxes using the virtual fax number that is provided to you at the moment of signing up with a fax service. On their part, they will not notice a difference, but when the fax is sent, it is first encrypted and delivered to the company’s fax servers, where it will undergo a conversion process.
Once the file is converted, it will be forwarded to your Gmail account, where it will show up as a new email message with an attachment.
Services work mostly with PDF files as they are easy to read and don’t require a specialized paid software. Now you have total control over what is printed and what is left in a digital format, saving you not only money but also a lot of time.
You can also opt to receive Google fax online using your mobile phone, thanks to the recently introduced smartphone apps.
